His new play Home by Dark had a staged reading at the National PFLAG Conference in DC this past October and will be featured in Paragon's New Play Trench Series.
Debbie Knapp has been interpreting literature and working in theatre since high school & college days. After years of professional and educational theatre, she is thrilled to return to her first love, reading great stories aloud. She is constantly impressed at the depth of local talent here, both among the writers and the performers – it must be the altitude.
Clyde Sacks is a nationally-touring stand-up comic & actor with 35+ years of theater experience in plays, movies, and stand-up comedy shows in the U.S. and Europe ( "a few have actually been entertaining", he says). He splits his time between the coasts and has appeared on Comedy Central, HBO, NBC, and was the Executive Director & Co-Host of the television talk show "NO-EXIT". ‘Collide’ is currently authoring two books: one on President Lyndon Baines Johnson and one on 19th century poet Eugene Field.
Emily Paton Davies has performed with a number of local theatres to great acclaim, including “The Turn of the Screw” for Modern Muse, “The Smell of the Kill” at the Avenue Theatre, and any number of shows at Paragon Theatre Company, where she is an ensemble member..
Martha Harmon Pardee most recently appeared in Paragon Theatre Company's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" for which she won the Denver Post's Ovation Award for Best Actress in a Drama. She has recorded over 750 books and hundreds of magazine articles for the Library of Congress' National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. Martha is looking forward to working with Paragon again as Amanda in their upcoming production of "The Glass Menagerie."
Missy Moore is excited to be embarking on her first adventure with Colorado Homegrown Tales and to be working on Ghostlight for a second time. Missy has been in Denver for the last five years working as an actor and theatre teacher. Recent acting credits include: understudy in Moonlight and Magnolias (Arvada Center), multiple roles in All in the Timing (Modern Muse Theatre Co.), Marcy in Dog Sees God (Avenue Theater), and Elaine in Last of the Red Hot Lovers (Miner's Alley Playhouse). She would like to extend her love to her family and friends for their continuous support. BOO!
Kelly McMahon is a professional actor whose first role was an angel with a crooked halo. Highlights include playing a speech therapist for a comatose patient on The Young and the Restless, and a crazed fan on HOMEFRONT. Her next project is the indie sci-fi comedy, 'WALK-INS WELCOME' shooting outside of Denver.
